Sunday School - Both ways wi. G.M. Home all day. Laurie Virtue down for while.  Studied a little.

Monday, Jan 13
Cool       Fair
School - Registered for next semester.  Home evening. Study Polycon, wrote up 2 E.M. exp. Turned in about 9:30 P.M.

Tuesday, Jan 14
Fair
School - Polycon read at library. Brook's S. Unrest. [probably The Social Unrest: Studies in Labor and Socialist Movements by John Graham Brooks, first published in 1903.]
Home about 3:30 P.M.  Worked on E.M. Studied Calc till 11 P.M.

Wednesday, Jan 15
School.
Got out of E.M. lab. Home early.  Wrote up experiment.  Went up to night school wi G.M. also to Garage abt. battery.  Study Calc. till 10:45 P.M.

Thursday, Jan 16
Rain
School - Down town 11-2. Saw Huey On Hyades.   [Probably the Steamer Hyades which would be going from Puget Sound to the Hawaiian Islands In January of 1913. Huey is a friend.  I don't think Huey was going to Hawaii but maybe as far as Tacoma?]
At Bank.  Over at G.M. Eve. Miller Bro. & Sister there. Home 11:30 P.M.  Rice called up about wireless law.

Friday, Jan 17

School - 
Down to Melbourne with Mama.


[The Melbourne Theatre was on 2nd Avenue in downtown Seattle. I believe they had a 2/8 Kimball theatre organ installed in 1913.]

Saw Cleopatra [probably "Cleopatra," the silent film created in 1912 by the Helen Gardner Picture Players. Gardner stars in the title role, which in a series of elaborately staged tableaux, it depicts Cleopatra's  love affairs, first with handsome fisherman-slave Pharon, then Marc Antony.  The film features lavish sets and costumes, and tinting in various hues. At just over an hour, it was considered fairly lengthy.] 
Worked wireless a little with S.F.G.

Saturday, Jan 18
Home Morning Down Town with Dell afternoon. On board Northwestern. At Cooper's Office.  At movies wi. G.M. Home 11:30 P.M. 
Bought Aloha [Might be sheet music Aloha Oe Lilivokalani, H M Queen, published in 1913.]  Borrowed some from Dell. 
Add. + Meat $.85
