School     Worked on gas engine.  Heard Lecture on General Elec. Co.  Home Eve.  Study E.E.  Turn in 9:30 P.M.

Tuesday, April 29
Fair
School  -  Boiler Test home 5:15 P.M.  Saw G. got her to write Notes for me not much studying.  Turn in 10 P.M.

Wednesday, April 30
Fair
School  -  Mechanics.  Home 5:00 P.M. Over to G. N. M. Study  Electrical.  Turn in 10 P.M.

Thursday, May 1
Fair
School  -  Mechanics  Home 5:30 P.M.  Over to G.  Eve up to Movies. Home 10:30 P.M.

Campus Day. Had great time building trail.

Out at School - worked on Gas engine, No Class in E.E.  Home After noon working with wireless set.  G. over.  Down to Clemmer wi G. Home 11 P.M.
[He and G probably saw "Through Many Trials," two reels and "Hiram Buys an Auto," silent films that had just been released that week and were being shown at the Clemmer. The cost of admission, 10¢.]

Sunday School with G.  Over to Dinner, good too.  Then out canoeing with G.  Had fine time.  Back abt. 8 P.M.  Home at 10 P.M.  Turn in 10:30.

Monday, April 21 
Windy   Fair
School   -  Worked on Electrical Exp 9 + 10 all afternoon.  Home 6 P.M.  Study Calc.  Turn in 10 P.M.

Tuesday, April 22
Fair
School  -  Exp. Valve setting.  Home 5:30 P.M.  Gladys sick with Mumps.  [I wonder if 'Gladys'  is his often mentioned 'G.']   "Lu" called up too.  Study eve.  Till  9P.M.

Wednesday, April 23

School  -  Home 5 P.M.  Nothing doing  Turn in 8 P.M.

Thursday, April 24

School  -  
Down Town Morning Lectures at School.  Home 5:30 P.M.  Over to see G. She's pretty sick.  Study eve.  Turn in 10 P.M.

Friday, April 25
Fair
School  -  Worked on gas engine turning up flywheel.  Home 5:30 P.M.  Went to see G.  little better.  Study till 10 P.M.

Saturday, April 26
Fair
School  -  Home afternoon.  Study E.E.  Out to County Fair Eve[ning].    [The King County Fair is the oldest fair west of the Mississippi River. It is held in Enumclaw, WA.  Clarence probably took the train from Seattle to Enumclaw, a trip of about 40 miles.]   Had hot time. Minnie there had couple of dances also with Miss Baucher. [Popular dances in 1913 USA: Chinese Ta Toa, Newman Tango, Pavlova Gavotte, Philadelphia Drag, Rumba, Ballin' the Jack, Innovation Waltz.]     Home 12 P.M.  G. Better.

Sunday School as usual.  Home till 3:00 P.M.  Howard and Lulu over.  Went for walk to Volunteer Park then to Lu's house had grand feed.  To Clemmer.  home. with G at 9:30 P.M.

Monday, April 14
Fine
21 - My Birthday.  School again after vacation.  At top in Mechanics still. at 84.  Worked on gas engine in shop.  Home 5:30  P.M. saw G. went over got cushion, some class to her.  Got stick pin from mama.  Study eve till 11 P.M.  Pretty tired.

Tuesday, April 15
Fair
School  - Worked in shop.  Tired as Dickens.  Study little.  G. over min. Turn in 9:30 P.M.

Wednesday, April 16
Fine
School  - Home 5:30 P.M. G. over few min.  Study til 9:P.M.  Not much doing.  Dell up had new Merkel twin.

Thursday, April 17
Fine
School  -  Went to Ball Game.  We got cleaned by Oregon.  Home 6:40 P.M.  Study till 10:P.M.  G. over few min and then sneaked away.

Friday, April 18
Fine  -  Rain
School  - Home  - 1 P.M.  Study afternoon Exp. Over to G. eve then to Movies also with Mary.  Home 10 P.M.

Saturday, April 19
Fair
School - Down Town with Babe.  got his trousers etc. got watch.  Home 4:30 P.M.  Study little, Down to Emp. with G. Home 11:30 P.M.  Good Show.

Sunday School as usual. Home till 3:00 P.M. over to G. Lieben and Lulu up. had good time.  For short walk.  
Home 10:00 P.M.

Monday, April 7
Fair
Home all day.  Worked on Hot water plant looking for leak - found it in Pearman's Apt.  
Over to G. eve. she was laid up with 'mumps'  - not sure. Home 10:15 P.M.

Tuesday, April 8
Fair
Left for Victoria 9:00 A.M., on Princess Victoria.   Saw G. before I started.

  Loafed around town. Out on Foul bay car. To 2 shows.  Had 2 meals. Home to Edwards apts with Kane.  10:30 P.M..  Turn in 11:00 P.M.  Pretty tired. 

Wednesday, April 9
Fair
At Victoria.  Got up 10:00 A.M.  Went to Museum  [probably the Royal BC Museum that was founded in 1886]  and Park then to Esquimalt [on the southern tip of Vancouver Island]. Back abt 3 P.M. had dinner then home agn took sleep.  Read magazines. Turned in 7:30 P.M.

Thursday 10
Fair
Got up 8:30 A.M.  Had breakfast.  Got magazine.  Went out on Oak Bay Car.  Then to Park and read, then to movies.  Had supper at Dominion, pretty good.  


Down at Empress, heard music.
        
 Pretty nice. Home, 9:00 P.M.

Friday, April 11
Fair
Left Victoria at 11 A.M. for Seattle on the Sol Duc.  
Ate lunch at Port Angeles.  Met Finch on the boat at Port Townsend.  Got in at 8:10.  Home at 9:00 P.M.  
Turned in at 10:00 P.M.

Saturday, April 12
Cloudy
Downtown Morning.  Saw Huey went to Nat'l City Bank.  Got cushion for Canoe.  Out to Lake.  Saw Papa.  Home 3 P.M.  G. over then over there took G. to Empress.  Home 11:15 P.M.
